Originally hailing from Perth, Western Australia, Hannah Clare is an artist of many colourful and diverse layers.

In 2016, she released her independent debut EP ‘A New Country’ under her previous guise, Brash The Empire. On a quest to now discover her true voice, she converted back to her Christian name, Hannah Clare.

With a passion for songwriting and crafting beautiful vocal melodies, she blends her own original style from her vast musical influences to capture her listener and take them upon a soulful journey from Her Heart.

Straitjacket is the title of a new solo project for Tasmanian singer-songwriter Nick Bennett. Having been involved in the Tassie music scene through his work as a part of Indie-Rock group The Saxons, Bennett sought to create a project that reflects a newfound songwriting maturity.

The name Straitjacket itself speaks volumes around the creative direction of the work, as Bennett strives to “break the shackles” of societal conventions and contend with themes of hopefulness, existentialism and living life to its fullest.
