Oracle Nights presents Blondos, Koh-Dee and DJ Thensum, hosted by Grace Chia
Wed 15 Oct
Welcome to Grace Chia's monthly hip-hop nights at ALTAR BAR. Every third Wednesday of the month come get acquainted with some of Tasmania’s best underground hip-hop artists.
Reigning from KANDOS, at just 19, with a 3rd leg and a great personality, BLONDOS embodies an energy and style similar to that of young Eminem. BLONDOS has taken the hip-hop scene by storm with hard hitting, tongue in cheek singles and one takes like “LOOKIN’ AT ME” “RED ALERT” and “PTWR”. While he is extremely confident in nature, BLONDOS isn’t afraid to show his vulnerable side—releasing ambient, toned down, emotion-filled songs like “too good for me”. Don’t miss the chance to hear this talent first before his inevitable blow up!
Cody Webberley, known professionally as Koh-Dee, is an Australian music producer, DJ, and rapper from Sorell, Tasmania. Blending indie-electronica, lo-fi hip-hop, and trap, Koh-Dee has carved out a distinctive sound that resonates across the global music scene. His work spans songwriting, rap, DJing, and sound engineering, showcasing his versatility as an artist. Starting from his home studio in Tasmania and refining his craft at SAE Byron Bay, Koh-Dee has released two studio albums, two EPs, a collection of singles, and the acclaimed video game soundtrack for Cracked Crusaders. His dynamic performances have lit up major festivals such as Falls Festival, Junction Arts, and MULTIVERSE, alongside iconic Hobart venues like The Twisted Lime, The Grand Poobah, and MONA (Museum of Old and New Art).
