CULT Comedy: Diorama Night

WHAT IS THIS? A COMEDY NIGHT FOR ANTS!?

Thu 10 Sep

Over 18 7PM

Here is something very different from CULT Comedy this month.

Host Rob Braslin will be joined by a bunch of nipaluna comedians who have spent weeks writing bits, hoarding cardboard, and hot-gluing their fingers together to make dioramas. Tiny little worlds in a box. Now they want to show them off.

Come for stories, jokes, and comedians unveiling their handmade masterpieces (or half-finished disasters) live on stage complete with Diorama-Vision, our very high-tech setup of a tiny camera on a stick, projecting every glued-on detail onto the big screen.

Got your own diorama sitting in a drawer somewhere? Bring it. Show it off. The comedians might have questions. Fair warning: this is a working pub, so you're on your own if anyone judges your childhood memory box a little too hard.

It's silly, it's crafty, it's completely free, and it might just be the weirdest comedy night Hobart's ever seen.  You gotta think outside the box to get the jokes!

DIORAMA NIGHT. One night only.
